This is the first twin sized bed that i have slept on since childhood, and was surprised at how comfortable this little guy is! I am not the traditional twin bed user seeing that I am 6'5" and 250lbs... big guy in a little bed... but it is sturdy and good looking and my room is very small...
I only gave the bed 4 out of 5 stars for the simple fact that the materials seem to be a bit cheap. (The price is right for what you get)
The instructions are pretty easy to follow, and says it will take 2-3 hours to assemble. Seeing that there were two of us putting it together and both of us are familiar with assembly and tools I expected that time to be less. It took about 2 hours and 20 min for it to come together to my liking. Thus, I would conclude it would take the lay-person much longer to put it together properly. EASY TO ASSEMBLE, BUT TAKES TIME

The platform storage bed came it two boxes, and took me about three hours to assemble by myself, but the instructions are very good an can be easily followed. I weigh a bit more than average, and the bed creaks a bit, but does support my weight. The three drawers are not as deep as I would like, at about 20 inches deep, but do hold a significant amount of my stuff. I was a bit concerned as the bed is mostly press-board, except for the slats that are directly under the mattress. While it is sturdy, I am slightly concerned about the long-term durability and will probably amend my comment after I move next year if it handles the abuse of moving satisfactorily.
